eDrive Test Engineer (Full‑time, Associate level) – EPITEC, Fully onsite Overview

Seeking an experienced test engineer to support testing and validation of electric drive systems and components in a dynamic lab environment. Key Responsibilities

Test electrical machines, subcomponents, and inverter systems. Prepare test articles and setups including instrumentation, wiring harness fabrication, and fixture assembly. Operate test cells with dynamometers, VFDs, battery simulators, thermal chambers, NVH chambers, and DAQ systems. Configure and execute manual and automated tests following safety protocols and test plans. Interface with microcontrollers for control unit tuning and calibration. Collect and analyze data (temperature, voltage, current, power, torque, vibration, etc.) using oscilloscopes, power analyzers, and DAQ systems. Develop test processes, procedures, and work instructions for engineers and technicians. Design custom test setups and collaborate with fabrication shops and vendors. Generate test reports and present findings to cross‑functional teams. Required Skills & Experience

3+ years in test laboratories. Hands‑on experience with electric motors, inverters, wiring harnesses, and dynamometer control systems. Proficiency with data acquisition systems and post‑processing tools (Matlab, Python, LabVIEW). Strong understanding of high‑voltage safety practices and ISO calibration standards. Ability to interpret CAD drawings, wiring diagrams, and schematics. Preferred Qualifications

Master’s Degree in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering. Expertise in motor drives, cooling systems, and test automation. Familiarity with CAN/Ethernet communications and API concepts. Knowledge of FMEA methods and quality standards. Experience with software tools such as Matlab, NI LabVIEW/TestStand, AVL Puma, ATI Vision, Vector, ETAS INCA. Education

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering (required). Work Location
