Base pay range $50.00/hr - $55.00/hr
Advanced Behavioral Therapy is seeking a Speech Therapist to join our dynamic team. If you’re looking for an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children while collaborating with an interdisciplinary team of behavior analysts and therapists, we’d love to hear from you!
As a Speech Therapist with Advanced Behavioral Therapy, you will play a key role in helping children improve their communication skills. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where ABA and speech therapy intersect to create the best outcomes for our clients in our ABA center.
Responsibilities
Conduct speech and language assessments for children with autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and related developmental disorders.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with the ABA team.
Provide speech therapy sessions to children, including one-on-one and small group sessions.
Work closely with Behavior Analysts and other team members to integrate speech and language goals with ABA programs.
Provide parent and caregiver training to enhance communication strategies at home.
Document progress, maintain accurate records, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings, providing input and collaborating to ensure the best outcomes for clients.
Stay current with best practices in speech therapy and behavior analysis.
Qualifications
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program.
Active and unrestricted license as a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) in Ohio.
Active license with the Ohio Department of Education, or willingness to obtain.
Experience working with children, particularly those with autism or developmental disabilities is preferred.
Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and methodologies is a plus.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Ability to provide family-centered care and work effectively with parents and caregivers.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Job Type: Part time. Monday-Friday. 10-15 hours per week. Flexible schedule!
