SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and Saint Louis University School of Medicine are seeking a full‑time BC/BE Pediatric Allergist/Immunologist to lead the Division of Allergy and Immunology. The Division Chief will deliver state‑of‑the‑art clinical care to children with allergic and immunologic conditions across the Medical Center’s care delivery platforms in the Saint Louis region and beyond, and will expand and innovate the Division’s research and education programs.

Division Overview The Division provides comprehensive clinical care for children with allergic and immunologic disease, including:
Asthma
Allergic Conjunctivitis
Urticaria / Angioedema
Eosinophilic Esophagitis / Gastroenteritis
Anaphylaxis
Primary Immune Deficiencies
Faculty members are national experts, board certified by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology, and actively develop national and international patient‑care guidelines. The Division participates in the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; the American College of Allergy, Asthma, and Immunology; and the World Allergy Organization. Medical students, house staff, and residents regularly rotate through the clinics, providing excellent teaching opportunities.
Research & Education Chair and Successfully establish the Division’s research and educational initiatives. The fellowship program is a single, fully integrated, pediatric‑internist model providing exposure to allergy, asthma and immunology in children and adults, with emphasis on evidence‑based clinical medicine. Successful completion confers eligibility for certification by the American Board of Allergy and Immunology.
Requirements • M.D. or equivalent degree • Board certification (or eligibility) in Allergy and Immunology • Medical licensure in the State of Missouri • Completion of an ACGME‑accredited 3‑year fellowship in pediatrics or internal medicine with a focus on immunology (preference for immunodeficiency experience) • Visa candidates are welcome to apply
