Senior Financial Analyst / Assistant Controller

Executive Team Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Financial Analyst / Assistant Controller to support our investment, financial reporting, and investor relations functions. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical, accounting, and communication skills, with experience in real estate and/or private equity environments. This role will serve as a key liaison among investors, developers, portfolio companies, and CPA firms ensuring timely and accurate reporting across all financial and operational areas. Key Responsibilities

Investor Relations

Calculate and issue capital drawdown and distribution notices to Limited Partners (LPs). Review and help prepare real estate investment offering memorandums. Prepare quarterly investor updates and manage ongoing investor communications. Serve as a primary point of contact for investor inquiries and documentation. Prepare financial statements in collaboration with bookkeepers and external accountants. Review monthly accounting reports, cash reconciliations, and general ledger activity. Prepare quarterly financial statements and capital account statements for co-investors. Review developer draw requests and ensure funding accuracy and timeliness. Treasury Management

Prepare and review wire transfers for capital calls, distributions, and operating expenses. Track incoming investor wires and ensure all deposits are properly recorded and allocated. Tax Reporting

Coordinate with CPA firms to provide all necessary information for year-end tax returns. Act as the liaison between investors, developers, and CPA firms for tax-related matters. Support the preparation and communication of quarterly tax estimates. Monitor tax deadlines and ensure all filings for portfolio entities and partnerships are completed on time. Conduct research and financial analysis for real estate, venture capital, and private equity investments. Prepare presentations, reports, and dashboards summarizing performance and key trends. Monitor and report quarterly performance of portfolio companies and investments to the executive team. Maintain clear and consistent communication with stakeholders on progress and results. Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (CPA or CFA preferred). 5+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, or controller-level roles. Experience in real estate investment, private equity, or family office environments strongly preferred. Strong knowledge of GAAP, financial modeling, and fund accounting principles. Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools; familiarity with QuickBooks or similar systems is a plus. Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
