MondayThursday, 8:00 AM5:00 PM; Friday, 8:00 AM12:00 PM (1-hour lunch, typically 12:30 PM1:30 PM) Pay Rate:
$17-$19.07/HR

Phlebotomist I
to provide excellent patient care and accurate specimen collection at our
Elizabeth City location .
Key Responsibilities: Perform quality blood draws on adult and geriatric patients (ages 1890) Process specimens according to lab protocols (no chart access; all orders are printed) Ensure proper specimen labeling, handling, and transport Maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment Work independently in a small doctors office environment (approximately 1535 draws per day)
Requirements: Minimum 1 year of phlebotomy experience required Experience drawing blood from adult and elderly patients High school diploma or equivalent required Vaccinations required: MMR, TB, and color vision screening (Hepatitis B optional) Must be able to stand for most of the shift Reliable transportation is required Training: 3-day virtual training in Chesapeake, followed by onsite training
This is a
3-month contract
position with
potential for permanent employment
