Job Summary Postdoctoral positions are available in the Department of Dermatology at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH) and Harvard Medical School (HMS), Boston, MA, USA. We are seeking highly motivated and qualified candidates with a recent Ph.D or Ph.D/MD to pursue research in targeted gene delivery, gene editing, and mRNA vaccine development with a strong emphasis on molecular biology.
In addition to the core project, the candidates will have opportunities to collaborate with other fellows in the laboratory on a broad range of research areas, including T cell immunology, biomimetic nanoparticles, sample-free blood biomarker detection, universal influenza vaccines, laser-based antimicrobial technology, and photobiomodulation-mediated regeneration. As a major teaching hospital of Harvard Medical School, MGH offers a vibrant and collaborative research environment, with outstanding resources and training programs available via both MGH and HMS. Postdoctoral fellows will be appointed through Harvard Medical School and will receive a competitive salary and benefit package in accordance with NIH and HMS guidelines.
Qualifications The ideal candidates should have a Ph.D or Ph.D/MD degree with a strong background in immunology and molecular biology, demonstrated by strong publications. Preference will be given to an individual who can work independently and write manuscripts and scientific reports at a high level. The position also requires experience in working with animals.
