Responsibilities

Assist with the planning, design, and permitting of civil engineering, land development, and infrastructure projects.

Prepare and modify engineering documents including reports, specifications, plans, construction schedules, cost estimates, and design plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Effectively use reports, maps, drawings, engineering plans, and other resources to assess soil composition, terrain, hydrological characteristics, and topographical and geologic data for project planning and design.

Recommend new approaches and ideas to improve efficiency and services.

Apply engineering knowledge and advanced mathematics techniques.

Collaborate with team members on project tasks and assignments.

Perform other duties as requested.

Essential Skills

Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D.

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering.

At least 2 years of experience in civil engineering design.

EIT Certification or current registration for the FE exam.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Minimum 3.0 GPA.

Prior internship or professional experience in site/civil design, including site planning, grading, stormwater management, drainage, and soil erosion.

Work Environment The work environment is collaborative and dynamic, requiring the use of engineering and design software such as AutoCAD and Civil 3D. The role demands both independent work and teamwork, with a focus on managing multiple engineering project components efficiently.

Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Miami, FL 33155.

Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $70000.00 - $95000.00/yr.

Upon the completion of two (2) months of employment, the Company will provide you with a (70%) subsidized medical plan (AvMed) with a gap component (Bay Bridge) and full dental coverage (AETNA). We will also provide you with a long-term disability plan (Northwestern Mutual) which pays 60% of your salary after three (3) months of being unable to work. You will be able to participate in our 401K/Safe Harbor Program with American Funds after one (1) year of employment. It includes a guaranteed 3% contribution from the Company as well as a profit‑sharing feature. In addition, you are eligible for fifteen (15) personal days per year and seven (7) holidays.
