Named Account Manager – Los Angeles

Proofpoint is a leading cybersecurity company that protects organizations worldwide.

Role Overview Manage 10‑15 enterprise named accounts, develop account plans, and grow revenue through upselling and cross‑selling Proofpoint’s cloud‑based security solutions.

Collaborate with partner community to expand white‑space accounts and work closely with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute account plans with focus on pipeline and forecast accuracy.

Meet regularly with senior executives (CISO, CIO, CMO) to understand security needs.

Deliver quarterly Customer Business Reviews and secure renewals.

Maintain clean Salesforce reporting and deliver accurate forecasts.

Coordinate with partner ecosystem to pursue new opportunities.

Achieve or exceed revenue targets for the assigned portfolio.

Requirements

Minimum 5 years of field sales experience selling complex cybersecurity solutions.

Proven track record of achieving revenue goals in enterprise accounts.

Strong presentation and technical communication skills.

Experience selling via two‑tier distribution and working with channel partners.

High activity level: 6‑10 meetings weekly, 6 hours of dedicated prospecting.

Strong Salesforce and forecasting hygiene.

Ability to manage cross‑functional teams and drive results.
