A dedicated Speech‑Language Pathologist (SLP) is sought for a K-12 school setting in Silver Spring, MD, to provide specialized support throughout the contract school year (CSY). This role focuses on delivering speech and language services tailored to students’ individual communication needs within a dynamic educational environment.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive evaluations of students’ speech, language, and communication skills
Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with educational goals
Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student progress
Maintain detailed records of student assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports
Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute professional recommendations
Qualifications
Valid state licensure as a Speech‑Language Pathologist
Experience working with school‑age children across the K-12 spectrum
Strong knowledge of speech and language development, disorders, and intervention strategies in educational settings
Ability to manage multiple cases and maintain accurate documentation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with students, staff, and families
Location: Silver Spring, Maryland K‑12 educational facility
