Responsibilities
Develop and maintain detailed 3D electrical models (lighting fixtures, equipment, conduit/tray routing) in Revit/AutoCAD/Navisworks, ensuring accuracy and constructability per contract documents
Perform clash detection between electrical systems and other disciplines (mechanical, structural, architectural), lead coordination meetings to resolve model conflicts and integrate changes into the BIM model
Ensure compliance with the project’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP), maintain standards and protocols for model creation, naming conventions, and deliverables
Collaborate with project team (engineers, designers, foremen, field staff) to convert design drawings to BIM models, review submittals and update models to reflect as-built conditions and installation changes
Manage BIM content and libraries for electrical scope (e.g., families, templates, device blocks, conduit/tray elements), execute quality control checks, track installation drawing logs and ensure models are properly coordinated for construction and fabrication
Required Skills
At least 3 years professional experience in BIM coordination.
Experience across a range of building sectors, like healthcare, commercial, etc.
Familiarity with estimating tools and software, such as BlueBeam
Pay range and compensation package $70,000 to $110,000 (negotiable, dependent on experience)
