About Strategic Sourcing at Sephora:

This role sits within the Corporate Services Sourcing team, part of the Sephora NA Strategic Sourcing organization. The team manages supplier negotiations and achieves cost efficiencies across indirect categories, including technology, supply chain, finance, human resources, and professional services. Its focus is on long‑term value creation, cost savings, and risk mitigation in alignment with Sephora’s goals.

Your role at Sephora:

As a Manager of Technology Strategic Sourcing, you will develop strong business partner relationships and provide strategic sourcing support to a subset of the Sephora Technology business unit. Reporting to the Director of Corporate Services Strategic Sourcing, you will manage the end‑to‑end strategic sourcing process for primary technology categories such as Software/SaaS/PaaS/Cloud, Hardware, and IT Services associated with omnichannel, marketing, eCommerce engagement, and other subcategories including Data, AI, and Analytics.

Collaborate with Finance, Technology, Omnichannel and Marketing stakeholders to develop strategic sourcing wave plans with well‑defined cost‑savings and avoidance targets and publish them at least annually.

Conduct contract negotiations with suppliers to optimize cost efficiency and reduce risk for the business stakeholder/engagement.

Partner with a broad mix of stakeholders on contract evaluation, redlining, and negotiation, including Technology, Legal, Privacy, Information Security, and Internal Controls.

Manage all phases of complex contract development, including reviewing statements of work or requirements, RFIs, and RFPs.

Advocate for and track compliance with Sephora’s Indirect Spend and Delegation of Authority policies, 3rd‑party risk management process, supplier diversity and sustainability programs, and appropriately manage non‑compliance.

Ensure sourcing engagements are closed promptly, maintaining clear communication regarding progress, savings, and cost avoidance to all stakeholders, including executives. Apply a project‑management approach while consistently keeping all stakeholders informed.

Qualifications

5+ years in IT procurement/sourcing, including end‑to‑end RFx management.

5+ years leading vendor negotiations and managing MSAs, SLAs, SOWs, and renewals.

5+ years project management experience driving sourcing initiatives to completion.

Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field.

Strong background in sourcing hardware, software, SaaS, cloud, and IT services.

Skilled in contract negotiation, risk mitigation, and vendor performance management.

Ability to partner with IT, Legal, InfoSec, Privacy, and Finance to unblock decisions.

Clear communicator who escalates with solutions and influences stakeholders.

Familiar with market‑price benchmarks, licensing models, and vendor ecosystems.

Working knowledge of procurement/sourcing tools and systems.

Preferred: Procurement or supply chain certification (CPSM, CSCP, etc.) and a positive, collaborative attitude.

The annual base salary range for this position is $132,000.00–$147,000.00. The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, including qualifications, experience, skills, education, certifications, and geographic location. Individuals employed in this position may also be eligible for bonuses.
