Vice President, Application Development Team Management
Morgan Stanley Services Group, Inc. seeks a Vice President, Application Development Team Management in New York, New York. Deliver software using best practices of development, design, testing and deployment. Design and develop user-facing software applications that align with long‑term firm strategies with a focus on maintainability, performance, usability and user experience (UX). Build software solutions. Collaborate and work with local and global teams effectively. Own the complete delivery of the assigned modules/systems. Build solid software development practices for key initiatives.
Salary
Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $201,000 and $210,000 per year at the commencement of employment. Base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short- and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
Requirements
Requires a Master’s in Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
Requires three (3) years of experience in the position offered or three (3) years as an Associate, Team Lead, Developer, or a related technical occupation.
Requires three (3) years of experience with Java, case management, system integration, UI development, flows and agents, automated testing, PEGA administration, scripting, data structures, object‑oriented programming, enterprise‑wide software development, SDLC best practices, micro‑services architecture, BPM solutioning, cloud technology including Kubernetes, Docker, and PEGA deployments, SQL, and Linux/Unix environment.
