A domain architect for enterprise security is responsible for designing and implementing security solutions across the organization’s technology landscape. They analyze security risks and develop strategies to mitigate them while ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. They also collaborate with other IT professionals to ensure that security measures are integrated into all aspects of the organization’s technology infrastructure, while ensuring the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of digital assets.
Responsibilities
Security Design and Architecture: Embed security principles into design goals while minimizing risk from cyber threats and vulnerabilities.
Cross‑functional Collaboration: Promote a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration across functions to solve business problems.
Frameworks and Industry Standards: Govern the organization’s approach toward protecting systems by aligning programs, policies, and standards with regulations and operating environment.
Communicating Complex Concepts: Summarize and simplify technical concepts for diverse audiences.
Domain Knowledge: Apply domain‑specific knowledge of current trends, directions, and regulatory considerations.
Technical Excellence: Develop and provide solutions to significant technical challenges.
Cybersecurity Expertise: Deploy and monitor cybersecurity measures while detecting, controlling, and preventing breaches.

Qualifications
Related bachelor’s degree and/or equivalent work experience.
5+ years of IT business work experience.
Desired Certifications: CISSP, CCSP, CCNP, CISA or equivalent.
Problem Solving: Recognize, anticipate, and resolve organizational or operational problems.
Conceptual Thinking: Identify critical ideas and interdependencies among system elements.
Cloud Security: Minimize security risks to secure cloud computing services.
Container Security: Secure image practices, runtime security, networking, and incident response.
AI Security: Design secure architectures for Gen AI systems, threat modeling, data protection, and compliance.
Cyber Risk Assessment & Mitigation: Assess risks across the systems lifecycle.
Threat Analysis & Defense: Analyze threats and develop mitigation strategies.
Identity and Access Management: Manage access to infrastructure and applications.
DevSecOps: Integrate security into DevOps processes.
