Role Description This is a full-time role for a Director of Investor Relations based in New York City. The role involves managing relationships with the firm’s current and potential investors by providing updates, addressing inquiries, and preparing investor communications. Additional responsibilities include crafting marketing decks, press releases, contributing to fundraising activities, preparing detailed reports, and facilitating clear communication of the firm’s real estate investment strategies and results. FCP will be launching its 2nd discretionary investment fund and this role will be the lead in managing the fundraising process for that effort, including marketing, arranging meetings, managing due diligence, and overseeing the closing process. As such, this role will include a meaningful carried interest stake in the general partner of the fund. This is in addition to a competitive base salary, bonus and benefits package (including medical, dental, 401(k), etc.).
Qualifications
Self-starter with strong existing relationships of prospective LP's seeking to invest in private real estate funds
Relationships should include endowments, foundations, family offices, RIAs and pensions
Strong expertise in Investor Relations and fostering professional relationships
Proficiency in Financial Modeling and Analytical Skills to interpret data and assess opportunities
Experience in Finance, particularly within capital markets or real estate, is highly desirable
Knowledge of drafting Press Releases and other investor communication materials
Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal, with attention to detail
Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment and adapt to changing needs
