EMPLOYMENT TYPE Contract – 2 months + strong possibility of extension or conversion

PAY $75-80/hr. W2

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES We are seeking multiple Aerospace Manufacturing Engineers for our top aerospace client located in Kent, WA. This is a great opportunity for someone with a background in manufacturing engineering to support production in a highly regulated environment.

Develop manufacturing work instructions to clearly define the following manufacturing processes: fabrication, assembly, and integration.

Manage quality, build sequence, and schedule for hardware manufacturing processes.

Disposition non-conformance repair and rework activities.

Support the manufacturing floor in assembly and installation, compliance to engineering requirements, discrepancy resolution, and component acceptance testing.

Investigate root causes, disposition vehicle discrepancies, and take ownership of preventative and corrective actions.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or related field

5-7 years direct manufacturing and manufacturing engineering experience.

Understanding of engineering fundamentals for mechanical design and manufacturing including solid understanding of GD&T.

Proficiency in business and engineering software (CAD, PLM, Scheduling, MSOffice, Windchill, etc).

Ability to develop processes compliant to industry quality systems such as AS9100.

Proven experience and successful track record in developing/starting new processes

Strong written, personal, technical, and software skills (Scheduling, Issue Tracking,

Exceptional attention to detail

Ability to communicate clearly and appropriately at all levels of the organization

Must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum
