Security Professional - Mall Patrol Driver

Indianapolis, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed patrol professional at a retail or mall location, you will monitor assigned areas and conduct regular patrols to help deter security-related incidents while providing visible support to customers and visitors. Your presence and attentive service will contribute to a welcoming environment, all while upholding the Allied Universal values of agility, reliability, and integrity. This role requires a valid driver's license, as it involves driving responsibilities as part of your patrol duties. What You'll Do
Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, as well as emergency response activities when appropriate.
Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, assisting with resolution as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail or mall location and its perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and/or suspicious behavior.
Monitor entrances, exits, and common areas to help deter potential issues and provide a visible security-related presence.
Document and report any security-related incidents, maintenance issues, or hazards observed during patrols.
Work collaboratively with Allied Universal team members and onsite personnel to address concerns and maintain a welcoming environment for customers and staff.
Minimum Requirements
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
