Overview Provide infrastructure and systems support to end users of Apalachee Center and is additionally responsible for attached equipment. The System Administrator must ensure that the Center’s servers and services are maintained, updated and highly available for customers to perform their daily activities. Assist employees of Apalachee Center remotely and in person.
Essential/Core Job-specific Duties And Responsibilities
Collaborate as a team to accomplish the MIS Department objective.
Perform server administration tasks such as group policies, permissions, backups, audits, etc.
Evaluate, configure and implement new technologies to improve the Center’s capabilities.
Implement, maintain and repair infrastructure, server operating systems, hardware, enterprise software.
Migration of applicable servers to Azure and physical to virtual conversion of bare metal servers.
Monitoring infrastructure and services for risk and vulnerability management
Employing the latest security protocols and standards
Assist customers in remote locations by providing network and systems troubleshooting.
Resolve system level tickets in the Apalachee Center helpdesk system.
