Role Overview
We are looking for a motivated Business Development Manager to drive growth. The ideal candidate will combine strong sales expertise with technical knowledge of waste handling equipment and a commitment to sustainability.
Key Responsibilities
Develop and execute strategic sales initiatives to expand business in waste and recycling services.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with new and existing clients.
Conduct market analysis to identify growth opportunities and track industry developments.
Partner with operational teams to ensure efficient service delivery and client satisfaction.
Provide mentorship and training to the sales team on product offerings and best practices.
Prepare sales proposals, forecasts, and performance reports for leadership review.
Represent the company at trade shows, conferences, and industry events.
Required Skills & Experience
Hands‑on experience with waste‑handling or heavy equipment (e.g., loaders, roll‑off trucks, forklifts).
Solid understanding of manufacturing or recycling operations.
Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation abilities.
Physically capable of assisting with field operations when necessary.
Familiarity with cleaning and maintenance procedures related to waste services.
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to identify trends and craft effective sales strategies.
