Job Description
Our client, a leading manufacturing organization specializing in structural and miscellaneous steel fabrication, is seeking a Senior Level Fabricator 2nd Shift to join their team. As a Senior Level Fabricator 2nd Shift, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the production of complex steel assemblies. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully in the organization.

Pay Range:
$28
Shift:
2nd Shift (1:30pm – 10:00pm)
What's the Job?
Read and interpret basic drawings to determine material requirements and assembly instructions
Assemble steel components by tack welding, including stringers, stairs, canopies, and complex radius assemblies
Mark welding symbols and weld lengths accurately according to specifications
Examine workpieces for defects and ensure conformance with quality standards
Operate cutting, shaping, drilling, and bending equipment to prepare materials per shop drawings
What's Needed?
Minimum of 5 years of related experience in manufacturing, structural, or miscellaneous steel fabrication
Proficiency in reading fabrication and erection drawings, and understanding WPS
Certification in GMAW, FCAW, FCAW-G, or SMAW welding processes
Ability to operate grinders, torches, and other fabrication tools safely and effectively
Strong math skills, including geometry, for precise layout and measurements
