Job Details Description The CMM Program Operator is responsible for performing in-process and final inspections of aeronautical products to meet engineering design requirements. This role ensures accurate and timely execution and reporting of inspection results, including documenting any deviations. The ideal candidate demonstrates strong attention to detail, thoroughness, integrity, sound judgment, and a cooperative attitude throughout the inspection process. Additional responsibilities include developing and implementing metrology methods for manufacturing inspection. Duties involve inspecting aircraft components and tools using basic precision instruments (e.g., calipers, micrometers) as well as interpreting CAD and GD&T information with advanced measurement systems. This position offers a $5,000 signing bonus! Paid relocation is available Essential Duties & Responsibilities

Read, interpret, and inspect to engineering drawings, procedures, and specifications governing manufacturing processes

Demonstrate comprehensive understanding of quality assurance processes and associated documentation

Ensure products, articles, and services meet engineering, specification, and customer requirements

Exhibit leadership skills while collaborating with manufacturing technicians

Communicate clearly and effectively in both written and verbal formats

Adapt to changing tasks and priorities; ability to multi-task

Operate metrology equipment for inspection of aircraft components and manufacturing tools

Perform receiving inspections as needed

Certify tooling and maintain calibration records in the tool certification database

Develop inspection programs for automated CMM equipment using CAD and GD&T data

Conduct measurement systems analysis

Identify measurement system errors and non-conformities, determine root causes, and implement corrective actions

Support standardization and continuous improvement of dimensional inspection processes

Provide assistance to other quality assurance personnel as needed

Education & Experience

Associate degree in CAD or equivalent experience creating/reading drawings with GD&T

Minimum two years of experience in engineering design or manufacturing inspection

Additional Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Ability to read, interpret, and inspect to drawings, procedures, and process specifications, and clearly communicate findings

Proficient with precision measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, and height gages

Skilled in advanced metrology equipment such as Faro Arms, Laser Trackers, CMMs, and Laser Scanners

Proficient with PolyWorks, Cam2 MeasureX, and PC-DMIS software

Strong knowledge of GD&T

Working knowledge of Pro-Engineer (Creo)

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, including root-cause analysis

Strong spatial and mechanical aptitude

Hourly pay is ~$24-$40hr.
