The Credit Administrator / Returns Analyst is an essential part of the Finance team, dedicated to enhancing the returned goods process. The role is responsible for collecting and evaluating crucial information to support, analyze, and validate customer return claims, ensuring accuracy and efficiency throughout the process.
Key Roles And Responsibilities
Oversee and process customer claims for return-related credits with precision and timeliness
Interpret customer contract terms and pricing, ensuring compliance with return authorization policies
Proactively address system issues to minimize delays and deductions
Prepare periodic and ad hoc reports for management and stakeholders
Collaborate cross-functionally with accounts receivable, customer service, sales, contracts, pricing, IT, and external partners
Build and maintain strong working relationships internally and externally
Identify and resolve customer issues and disputes efficiently
Respond promptly to customer inquiries about credits for returns
Qualifications & Skills
High School Diploma required; degree in Accounting or related field preferred
Minimum of 2 years’ experience with a solid understanding of basic accounting principles
Advanced Excel skills (including v-lookup and pivot tables)
Strong analytical, reconciliation, and problem‑solving abilities
Ability to work independently and multitask in a dynamic atmosphere
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Prior experience in pharmaceutical or manufacturing environments is a plus
High attention to detail and proactive approach to preventing and correcting errors
