Our customer is migrating from Windows 10 to Windows 11 and has a backlog of desktop support requests that they need help with. They require a couple Desktop Support Technicians to support this migration and ongoing desktop support. These contract roles run through March 2026 with a strong likelihood of extension.
Responsibilities Day to day duties include:
Responding to tickets related to the Windows 10 to Windows 11 migration.
Providing level 1‑2 technical desktop support to end users.
Deploying hardware and performing imaging.
Using the ticketing system to track and resolve incidents.
Qualifications Minimum of 2‑3 years of recent desktop support experience in a Windows 10 or Windows 11 environment.
Desktop support, Windows 10/11, troubleshooting, hardware, Active Directory, customer service, imaging, deployment.
CompTIA, Windows certification or A+ preferred.
Experience Level Entry Level
Job Type & Location Contract position based out of Birmingham, AL. Fully onsite.
Pay & Benefits Pay range: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour.
