The ServiceNow Support Specialist plays a critical role within the Technology Services Group (TSG) Production Services team — a group dedicated to maintaining best-in-class technology environments for BNY. This position focuses on ensuring a stable, secure, and predictable production environment across enterprise-wide systems. The specialist will support multiple service management applications and will drive continuous improvement initiatives aligned with IT service management (ITSM) standards. This position is a hybrid role based out of BNY’s Lake Mary, FL or Pittsburgh, PA offices. Key Responsibilities:
Platform Support: Manage incidents, problems, changes, and requests within ServiceNow to support the Service Management Office (SMO). Release Management: Support weekly release cycles, application deployments, and post-deployment validation. Service Performance: Meet SLAs for incident and request management while identifying and implementing automation opportunities and service enhancements. Maintenance & Upgrades: Ensure infrastructure and software components are maintained, patched, and upgraded in a timely, compliant manner. Collaboration: Partner with cross‑functional teams to align technology solutions with business needs and deliver consistent, high‑quality service. Qualifications:
4+ years of technical and support experience, including ServiceNow APIs, MID Server, Basic to advanced scripting, and ServiceNow performance tuning. ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA) certification and Bachelor’s degree. Proven experience managing and supporting enterprise applications for populations of 20K+ users. Strong communication and documentation skills. Ability to lead initiatives with minimal oversight. Preferred Experience:
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD) certification. Understanding of ITIL processes (ITIL v3 or v4). Experience with scripting languages such as JavaScript, Angular.js, Perl, or PowerShell. Why Join Us:
