Human Resources Representative Under general supervision, independently performs a variety of professional human resources (HR) assignments. Provides support to the Talent Acquisition, Compensation, and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) teams to coordinate and facilitate activities. Acts as the point of contact for basic Workday questions, interview scheduling and panel coordination, Coach Operator on‑boarding/first day orientation, and the purchasing of promotional items. Additionally, provides support as needed to all HR areas for projects.

This is an exempt position in Salary Grage 185: Min $38.71 - Mid $46.24 - Max $53.76 per hour. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications.

Human Resources Representative, Associate Under general supervision, performs entry‑level professional work in support of human resources functions. Provides support to talent acquisition, compensation and Human Resources Information System (HRIS) teams. Assists applicants with applications and basic Workday questions. Learns how to prepare for and conduct new employee orientation. Assists with special projects related to Human Resources issues.

This is an exempt position in Salary Grage 175: Min $35.11 - Mid $41.94 - Max $48.76 per hour. The starting salary will be within this range based on qualifications.

The level the position will be filled at is dependent upon the qualifications of the sucessful candidate.

The position will remain open until Thursday, November 13, 2025.

Monitors and facilitates recruitment activities, assisting the Talent Acquisition Specialists with placing recruiting ads, relaying information, providing instruction to and answering applicant questions on applying and using Workday, coordinating interview and room scheduling with candidates and panel members, compiling interview packets, and reviewing and closing recruitment files. Assists managers with Workday recruitment process questions. Participates as an interview panelist as needed.

Prepares communications, answers questions, assists with basic Workday questions and troubleshooting usage issues. Enters information into Workday as requested. Monitors recruitment statuses and answers applicant questions. Audits entries for accuracy and timeliness. Creates basic reports, pulling and compiling data from Workday.

Ensures that employee records are complete and accurate. Compiles and provides employee file documents to the Clerk of the Board’s staff as requested, in response to public records act requests.

May assist compensation staff with conducting and responding to salary surveys and analyzing data, preparing and routing documents and forms, and running reports.

Enters Special Performance Award (SPA) information into the database, as needed. Monitors and tracks documentation throughout the process and ensures accurate entry into the system when complete.

Utilizes computer software skills including applications such as MS Office programs including Outlook, Word, Excel, and Workday HRIS.

Communicates Powerfully & Prolifically:

Shares insights on issues/problems, clarifies purpose and links that purpose to actions.

Coordinates Coach Operator on‑boarding activities to ensure a smooth transition for new hires. Coordinates and conducts Coach Operator new employee orientation ensuring all required notifications, paperwork and training is completed. Presents information and answers questions during Coach Operator on‑boarding. Provides back‑up for Administrative employee first day on‑boarding.

Communicates professionally, clearly, and concisely, both verbally and in writing; presents effective presentations.

Solves Problems & Analyzes Issues:

Has and applies problem analysis and problem‑solving skills on a technical and interpersonal level.

Researches and answers general HR and Workday inquiries, referring the more complex issues to section specialists. Routes, monitors status and resolves human resources department related requests, routes, and tracks documents, and facilitates daily operational activities.

Recommends new approaches, policies, and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of services performed. Partners with employees and management to communicate various Human Resources policies, procedures, laws, standards, and government regulations.

Works in a Collaborative Manner with Others:

Works in a collaborative manner with others, helps resolve unproductive conflict.

Demonstrates effective customer service techniques.

Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with those contacted in the course of work.

Qualifications Human Resources Representative:

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field with a minimum of three years of experience in human resources.

Human Resources Representative, Associate:

Any combination of education and experience equivalent to a bachelor’s degree in business administration, public administration, human resources, or a related field. Human resources related and Workday experience is preferred.
