Location: Midtown East / Bryant Park, NYC Compensation: $130,000 – $140,000 annually (based on experience) Start: Immediate Hire About the Opportunity
Be part of one of New York City’s most anticipated hotel openings of 2026 — a stunning new property in the heart of Midtown East, just steps from Bryant Park. We’re seeking an experienced, high-energy Rooftop Director to lead the launch and operations of the hotel’s signature rooftop bar and lounge — a bold new addition to NYC’s nightlife and luxury hospitality scene. The Role

The venue will operate from 5 PM to 2 AM, and the role requires a hands-on approach, including working late nights as part of regular operations. Key Responsibilities
Lead the opening and daily operations of the rooftop bar and lounge, ensuring flawless execution and elevated guest experiences. Oversee all guest‑facing operations, maintaining the highest service and hospitality standards consistent with the hotel’s brand. Partner with Marketing and Sales teams to design and execute activations, special events, and full buyouts. Collaborate closely with hotel leadership and ownership as the primary liaison between F&B operations and third-party partners. Ensure efficient communication and coordination between departments to deliver exceptional experiences. Take a proactive role in training, mentoring, and inspiring staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence. Close the venue nightly, ensuring smooth transitions, detailed reporting, and readiness for the following day’s service. Ideal Candidate Profile
Hotel experience required , with proven success managing rooftop or nightlife operations. Strong beverage program expertise (cocktails, wine, and/or spirits). Opening experience within a luxury or lifestyle hotel environment strongly preferred. Background as a General Manager, AGM, or Multi‑Unit F&B leader with a hands‑on, service‑driven approach. Demonstrated ability to lead autonomously in fast‑paced, high‑volume environments. Exceptional leadership, communication, and relationship‑building skills across departments and teams. Experience working with third‑party hotel ownership or management groups is a plus. Why Join
This is a rare opportunity to shape the identity of a new NYC rooftop destination before it opens — leading concept, culture, and execution from day one.
