Account Manager – MacGregor
MacGregor is a global ocean transportation company operating in 30 countries and providing sustainable cargo handling solutions to the maritime and offshore industries.
Responsibilities
Plan, develop, direct, execute and monitor sales activities in assigned geography or market segment to achieve sales targets.
Develop equipment and service sales budgets and plans for assigned geography.
Negotiate sales with existing and new clients and prepare accurate sales forecasts and budgets.
Monitor sales revenues against forecasts, identify issues and adapt procedures to enhance performance.
Contribute to sales, customer retention, and account planning strategies by providing market intelligence.
Lead sales leads, visit customers to meet targets; implement sales tactics and action plans.
Collect and update market and customer information for branch and regional management.
Maintain order/delivery follow‑up and inform management of any support requirements.
Attend regular travel (approx. one week per month).
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Marine Engineering or Business Administration.
3–5 years of sales experience in marine, merchant, cruise, or offshore sectors.
Proven success in sales within the assigned region/country.
Good IT skills.
Fluent in English; Spanish is an advantage.
Strong customer orientation, organizational and communication skills.
