Responsibilities

Lead and supervise the installation, maintenance, and repair of fire alarm systems in residential, commercial, and industrial settings.

Perform electrical inspections and ensure compliance with local, state, and national electrical codes and safety regulations.

Troubleshoot electrical systems, diagnose issues, and provide effective solutions.

Supervise and mentor junior electricians, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.

Maintain and update project documentation, including electrical schematics, blueprints, and work orders.

Coordinate with other trades, contractors, and project managers to ensure timely completion of projects.

Oversee procurement of electrical materials and equipment, ensuring quality standards and cost‑efficiency.

Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are strictly followed to prevent accidents and injuries.

Qualifications

Proven experience (typically 5+ years) working as a journeyman or master electrician.

Strong knowledge of electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards.

Ability to read and interpret electrical blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals.

Experience in managing electrical projects and supervising a team of electricians.

Excellent problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.

Strong communication and leadership skills.

Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Proficient in the use of electrical tools, testing equipment, and safety gear.

Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various conditions (indoors, outdoors, heights, etc.).

Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Hourly pay commensurate with experience with opportunity for a results‑driven bonus based on personal output and effectiveness. Expected salary range between $40.00 - $50.00 per hour.
