Position Summary The Social Clinical Research Assistant will work with Dr. Guorong Wu and his team on an NIH‑funded research education program focused on the application of machine learning and image processing techniques in Alzheimer’s disease and related dementias. The role includes supporting course development and student recruitment for the ongoing summer education program (UNC‑PRIMES).
Minimum Education And Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of training and experience. All degrees must be received from appropriately accredited institutions.
Required Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
Significant experience in computer science and/or computer engineering.
Understanding and knowledge of course development and best learning practices.
Interest in furthering education for the next generation of scientists.
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, And Experience
Experience with machine learning and medical applications.
