Position Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and analytical Business Analyst to join our Data Analytics and Business Finance team. This company‑wide role is focused on transforming data into actionable insights that support decision‑making across multiple departments, including Finance, Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Success. The ideal candidate has a passion for solving complex problems, deep experience working with BI tools and spreadsheets, and thrives in a dynamic, cross‑functional environment.
Responsibilities
Partnering with stakeholders to define key business questions and deliver meaningful analysis.
Developing dashboards, KPIs, and business models to track performance and identify opportunities.
Supporting financial modeling, forecasting, and executive reporting.
Managing data pipelines and ETL processes in collaboration with the DevOps and IT teams.
Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to gather and interpret business requirements for data analysis and reporting.
Designing and maintaining interactive dashboards, reports, and visualizations using tools like Power BI or Tableau.
Extracting, cleaning, and transforming data from various systems and sources to support consistent business intelligence.
Performing in‑depth data analysis to identify trends, variances, and business opportunities.
Supporting executive decision‑making by preparing concise summaries and visual presentations.
Building predictive models and conducting scenario analyses to assess business outcomes.
Contributing to data governance, quality assurance, and documentation best practices.
Assisting with financial planning and business forecasting efforts.
Staying informed of industry trends and best practices in business intelligence and data analytics.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in business analytics, statistics, computer science, finance, or a related field; or equivalent relevant experience.
4+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, BI Analyst, or Data Analyst, preferably in a SaaS, IoT, or technology‑driven organization.
Strong proficiency with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI visualization tools.
Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, and data validation.
Strong SQL skills for querying and manipulating relational data.
Experience with ETL processes and tools.
Knowledge of statistical modeling, data mining, and predictive analytics.
