UT Health East Texas Physicians has over 90 primary and specialty care clinics, providing comprehensive medical education and innovative research. There are also residency programs throughout our hospitals and clinics actively training the medical leaders of the future.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Lead Technologist in Surgery and the Radiology Lightroom Coordinator shall perform radiographic examinations in the surgical setting.
Shall work with minimum supervision, expedite case work schedule with the lead technologist and insure smooth interaction amongst physician staff as well as related surgery staff.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications Job Requirements:
Graduate of an AMA approved Radiology program
Upon completion of an accredited radiology program, the employee will have 90 days to become ARRT registered and licensed through the Texas Medical Board.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
