**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

*** Facilitating communication with prospective faculty candidates expressing interest in our department.* Managing the candidate's experience, including being the point of contact on Interview Days, arranging travel and lodging, coordinating rental accommodations, scheduling SCH clinic tours (if required), and aiding with reimbursement processes.* Support the recruitment committee by managing interview logistics, including scheduling interviews for the interview panel.* Conducting candidate screening for research and administrative staff positions.**MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS** * High School Diploma or GED.* Three years of office or administrative support experience, or equivalent education/experience.**DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS** * Previous administrative experience will be highly sought out.* Previous experience working in higher education and/or in a medical or research setting.* Must be proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Zoom.* The Administrative Assistant 3 should be organized, an effective communicator, proactive and willing to take initiative, flexible and able to adapt quickly to change, customer service oriented and has strong attention to detail.* Working knowledge of University of Washington systems and procedures.* Previous administrative experience will be highly sought out.* Previous experience working in higher education and/or in a medical or research setting.* Must be proficient with Outlook, Microsoft Teams, PowerPoint, Zoom.* The Administrative Assistant 3 should be organized, an effective communicator, proactive and willing to take initiative, flexible and able to adapt quickly to change, customer service oriented and has strong attention to detail.* Working knowledge of University of Washington systems and procedures.### BenefitsThere are many perks to working for the University of Washington.
