About the Position Pacific Piano School is seeking a dedicated, experienced, and professional piano instructor for a part-time, in-person teaching position.

We are looking for educators who are passionate about teaching and committed to supporting student growth through structured, high-quality instruction. Teachers may set their own schedules within our open hours; however, we prioritize consistency for both students and staff. Preference will be given to candidates with greater availability.

Ideal Candidates

Strong foundation in music, supported by a degree in piano performance, pedagogy, or equivalent professional experience

Demonstrated teaching experience, particularly with young musicians

Professional and reliable approach to scheduling and communication

Willingness to teach music theory classes and piano group classes

Experience preparing students for ABRSM or MTAC Certificate of Merit examinations (preferred)

Reliable transportation and ability to pass a standard background check

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive pay of $45–$52 per hour for private lessons, based on experience

401(k) program with employer matching after 90 days of employment

Health, vision, and dental benefits available to full-time and part-time instructors
