Job Description
The primary role of a Warehouse Worker involves working in the cooler, picking, pulling, and building orders, palletizing products, and loading, unloading, and staging materials for outgoing delivery. This position requires packing and unpacking items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards. The individual will perform inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, investigate discrepancies, and adjust errors as needed. Items must be stored in an orderly and accessible manner in various areas, and stock items should be marked using identification tags, stamps, electric marking tools, or other labeling equipment. Maintaining cleanliness and safety compliance in storage areas is essential. The worker will also keep records on the use and/or damage of stock or stock handling equipment, and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors. Providing assistance or direction to other workers in the stockroom, warehouse, or storage yard is also expected.
Responsibilities
- Pick, pull, and build orders.
- Palletize products for outgoing delivery.
- Load, unload, and stage materials.
- Pack and unpack stock items.
- Perform inventory computations and adjust errors.
- Store items in an orderly and accessible manner.
- Mark stock items using labeling equipment.
- Clean and maintain storage areas for safety compliance.
- Keep records on stock and equipment usage or damage.
- Inspect stock items for wear or defects.
- Report damage to supervisors.
- Assist and direct other warehouse workers.
Essential Skills
- Order selection and packaging experience.
- Shrink wrapping and material handling skills.
- 1 plus year of stand-up forklift experience.
- Proficiency in using a pallet jack and forklifts.
- Inventory management skills.
- Experience as a production or warehouse worker.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- 1 plus year of warehouse experience.
- GED/HS Diploma required.
- Comfortable working in a cooler environment.
- Proficient in using computers and scanners.

Work Environment
The work environment is clean, comfortable, and modern, with safety guards around equipment to ensure worker safety. Although the floor may be wet due to machine rinsing, it is well-drained and dried. The position involves working in both dry and cold storage areas, with temperatures as low as 34 degrees. Workers must be comfortable in these conditions. The available shift is 1st Shift: 12pm-10pm (Monday/Wednesday/Thursday/Friday).

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.47 - $22.47/hr.
