Job Summary:

In a safe, efficient, and professional manner, the HVAC Technician II / Planner Scheduler will perform preventative, corrective, and predictive maintenance, troubleshoot, and service commercial and industrial HVAC systems. The role includes scheduling, dispatching, and tracking work orders, maintaining system compliance, and providing operational support. Experience with ACUs, AHUs, heat pumps, VAVs, DDCs, and ventilation systems is required. Experience with chillers, boilers, and kitchen equipment is a plus.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Receive and schedule work orders from Regional Coordinators or on-site personnel.
  • Create daily, weekly, and monthly schedules; dispatch tasks to team members.
  • Generate and track weekly/monthly PMs to ensure compliance.
  • Interface with customers to clarify work scope and provide updates.
  • Maintain work order logs, reports, and metrics (graphs, charts, spreadsheets).
  • Process daily timesheets and verify accuracy.
  • Assist in procuring materials and services; manage POs and invoices.
  • Maintain safety matrix and filing systems for proper record keeping.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including potential overnight travel.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate’s Degree (A.A.) or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school; or 5–10 years related experience/training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Experience: 5+ years MEP and CMMS-related work experience.
  • Licenses/Certifications: Valid Driver’s License required.
  • Skills: Strong computer skills with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint); Excellent written and oral communication skills; Ability to read and comprehend safety policies and procedure manuals; Ability to write routine reports, correspondence, and present information to individuals or small groups.
