Responsibilities
Greet patients and assist with registration, scheduling, measuring vital signs, and collecting health history
Provide support to physicians during examinations, minor office surgeries, dressing changes, and other first aid procedures
Assist with immunizations or injections as certified medical assistant
Assist patients with prescription requests, address pharmacy callbacks, provider orders, update charting and filing
Conduct onsite lab testing: EKG, pulmonary function, blood glucose and urine pregnancy tests
Maintain clean, warm, and inviting examination rooms for patient visits
Provide excellent customer service exemplifying Duly Health and Care CARE values
Occasional travel to assist other local clinics may be required
Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required
Completion of a Medical Assistant educational program or related health sciences coursework required
Active medical assistant certification from one of the following:
American Medical Technologists (AMT)
National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT)
National Healthcareer Association (NHA)
American Registry of Medical Assistants (ARMA)
American Association of Medical Assistants (AAMA)
CPR certification required or willingness to obtain upon hire
Phlebotomy certification may be required within 90 days of hire
Prior experience as an MA, CMA, CNA, EMT or at least 2 years of related medical office experience
The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $21.43–23.63 per hour for a Medical Assistant; Certified or Registered Medical Assistant base pay $22.97–24.57 per hour, based on skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives may be available. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
