Effectively assist physicians in performing a variety of highly specialized Cardiovascular procedures including, but not limited to, diagnostic and interventional catheterization, pacemaker/defibrillator implantation, intra-aortic balloon pump operation (IABP), and electrophysiology studies.
Job Requirements
High School Diploma/G.E.D required.
Experience in invasive cardiovascular technology, preferred.
Cardiac diagnostic/interventional procedural experience, preferred.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from American Heart Association.
Must obtain within 18 months: RCIS through Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI), Or RCES, Or ARRT with post primary certification of Cardiac Interventional Radiography through the ARRT.
Current Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) within 6 months of hire.
Physical Requirements Medium Work – (Exert up to 50lbs force occasionally, and/or up to 20lbs frequently, and/or up to 10lbs constantly)

At Holy Cross Hospital – Salt Lake, the Cardiovascular Services department is made up of the Cardiac Cath Lab, Echocardiography, EKG and Cardiac Rehab. The patient population is a combination of lower income, underserved population and outreach rural communities surrounding Salt Lake City, including Idaho, Wyoming, and Nevada. Cardiology is a tight knit group that considers each other family. There is strong bond within the staff and physicians and an overarching sense of teamwork, pride and loyalty on this team. The environment on this team is fast paced, high acuity care with a culture of safety, family, and collaboration. Cardiology offers employees the opportunity to demonstrate their knowledge and skills in a rewarding environment and supports growth and continued education for all staff. Ideal candidates will have critical care or emergency experience and can critically think in high stress, high acuity situations with honesty and integrity.
Pay Range $32.43 - $49.07 /hour
