Senior Director HR Business Partner, Ryder System, Inc.
Join to apply for the Senior Director HR Business Partner role at Ryder System, Inc. Supporting Ryder’s Automotive & Industrial (AAI) vertical within the Supply Chain division, you will drive organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and workforce planning.
Travel: 25% - 35% (estimated).
Responsibilities
Partner with senior leaders to align people strategies with supply chain business objectives, serving as a trusted advisor and champion of best-in-class HR practices.
Lead and develop a high-performing team of HR Business Partners, fostering a culture of strategic impact, accountability, and continuous growth.
Anticipate workforce challenges and guide leaders through complex organizational change with empathy and strategic foresight.
Collaborate with the broader HRBP leadership team to modernize the HR Business Partner function, enhancing scalability, effectiveness, and business impact.
Use people analytics to inform talent strategy, optimize workforce planning, and drive measurable outcomes.
Shape organizational structures and leadership pipelines, influencing how we attract, retain, and develop top talent.
Partner cross-functionally with COEs (e.g., Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Talent Management, Legal) to deliver integrated HR programs that support business goals.
Experience
10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, including senior leadership roles supporting executive teams.
Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, public companies, or high-growth environments is preferred but not required.
Skills
Proven ability to influence and coach senior executives, driving strategic people decisions at scale.
Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing HR teams.
Strong business acumen with deep understanding of industry dynamics and organizational strategy.
Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive change in dynamic environments.
Data-driven mindset with a focus on continuous improvement and measurable impact.

Compensation The position is salaried with a minimum pay range of $150,000 and a maximum pay range of $180,000. The role may also be eligible to receive an annual bonus, commission, and/or long-term incentive plan based on level and type.
