Job Summary The Operations Process Analyst is responsible for data analysis of operational processes with Operations Administration, Central Banking, and Treasury Management teams. The analyst assists in the bank’s policies, procedures, and forms management, develops and implements 1LOD testing and reporting functions, and monitors and tracks 1LOD functions in the operational areas managed by the Bank’s Chief Operating Officer (COO). The role requires understanding controls needed for compliance with applicable regulations, identifying relevant issues, and maintaining industry best practices.
Responsibilities
Work directly with service, product, and support department managers under the COO’s management.
Create and maintain operational metrics and conduct ad‑hoc studies.
Perform data analysis to identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
Analyze, evaluate, and periodically review compliance and risk management practices across the operational organization.
Participate in the design, development, and execution of the 1LOD independent framework, including policy and procedure development, and testing to ensure controls are effectively designed and operating.
Assist in developing the 1LOD risk program functions, such as risk assessments, KRI reviews, and operational loss analysis; support issue management and resolution.
Maintain knowledge of the bank’s risk management policies, control testing methodologies, and regulatory standards, including ERM, data governance, third‑party risk, business continuity, and privacy regulations.
Plan and develop testing modules, scripts, sampling methodologies, and testing approaches for evaluating the effectiveness of key controls.
Communicate testing results and improvement opportunities to senior management.
Contribute to the continuous improvement of tools, templates, and best practices that support control testing and reporting.
Support operational audits and exams regarding control testing methodologies and documentation.
Ensure compliance with all federal and state regulations, including BSA, AML, OFAC, CIP, Financial Elder Abuse Reporting, Sexual Harassment, Information Security, and privacy requirements.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Strong interpersonal and influencing skills; ability to interact with colleagues at all levels.

Deep understanding of control frameworks, testing methodologies, and risk assessments.
Proven ability to build and implement control testing programs to assess design and effectiveness of key controls.
Ability to structure and develop quantitative and qualitative conceptual analysis.
Ability to build relationships, communicate effectively, work under pressure, manage multiple priorities, and deliver high‑caliber results.
Team‑orientated with willingness to contribute to team efforts.
Highly proficient with SQL, Power BI, Visio, MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Outlook), internet applications, and SharePoint.
Excellent communication skills—listening, speaking, and writing well; able to interact respectfully with personnel at various levels.
Dedicated to meeting deadlines.
Strong judgment and problem‑solving skills.

Education and Experience
Bachelor’s degree in risk, finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
Preferred experience in controls testing, internal audit, or quality‑control roles within financial services, public accounting, or financial regulation.
Experience or strong understanding of financial institution operational environments and products.
Officer Title Eligibility This position qualifies for the officer titles Assistant Vice President and Vice President for qualified employees who meet defined competencies.
Additional Information Employees holding sensitive positions are required to be absent from duties for a minimum of two consecutive weeks each year. This position meets the test for a sensitive position, so the minimum absence requirement applies annually.
