Category Manager – Logistics (OFSE GSC) – Houston, TX Join our team! As Category Manager, Logistics, you will manage transportation and related logistics of goods and services to and from internal and/or external customers. You will develop and lead end-to-end logistics solutions, manage logistics costs, provide advice and guidance to functional management, handle communication with colleagues and business partners, lead the design and implementation of projects, and support warehouse transformation and integration within the global logistics operation.

You will also develop warehouse strategy and execute transformation projects.

Responsibilities

Developing and leading end‑to‑end logistics solutions to achieve required on‑time pick‑up & delivery of goods.

Managing logistics costs to meet budgets and operation plans.

Providing advice and guidance to functional management or business functions on approaches, projects and programs in the functional area or affecting business organization and ways of working.

Handling communication with direct colleagues and the business about approach and methods for solving complex problems.

Leading the design and implementation of projects. Work goals typically span 1‑2 years to complete and the impact is felt over the 12‑month to 2‑year time horizon.

Supporting warehouse transformation and integration within global logistics operation.

Developing warehouse strategy and executing transformation projects.

Qualifications

Have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.

Have 5 years of experience in logistics.

Have specialized experience in the areas of air freight, warehousing, and materials management.

Have change‑management experience, especially leading such an effort, along with implementations experience for new software or processes.
