The

Sr.

Cloud and Server Infrastructure Engineer

manages and optimizes hybrid cloud environment (IAM processes, application SSO, environment security, etc.), cloud based collaboration tools (email, messaging, etc) and on-premises applications (Microsoft CM, PKI, Active Directory, etc), server environments (Windows, linux), ensuring stability, security, and performance through automation, troubleshooting, and disaster recovery planning. Success in this role is defined by maintaining high system availability, implementing efficient automation strategies, and providing excellent operational support to end users. The position is critical to the organization’s IT operations, enabling seamless infrastructure performance and supporting enterprise-wide technology initiatives. Strong communication and teamwork skills ensure alignment with company goals and effective collaboration across departments.

This position reports to the IT Manager, Core Applications and allows you the flexibility to work from your home office. If located near one of our locations, then schedule will be hybrid.

What you’ll do:

Management and Architecture of cloud infrastructure, cloud collaboration tools, cloud applications, cloud servers, on-premises applications, on-premises servers and SAN storage

Recommend and implement modifications to the cloud environment, applications, server and storage environment, including troubleshooting and replacement of faulty system hardware.

Configure/setup, maintain and troubleshoot applications, servers and services - automation of redundant processes.

Participate in the planning, designing and testing of disaster recovery procedures.

Perform routine application and server updates/patching and assist in software deployments.

Conduct ongoing monitoring and maintenance to ensure stability and optimal performance on all applications, cloud and server environments.

Manage and support VMware, SAN storage, backups, patch management

Work with end users to resolve issues, and provide operational support

Implementation of an automation strategy

Manage and support the data backup process

Management and maintenance of business collaboration toolset, (email system, messaging, file sharing, etc)

Documenting processes, with some development

Participate in an On-Call rotation

Experience you bring:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, other related scientific/technical discipline or 2-4 years of related industry experience

Experience in Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, IIS, Active Directory, Configuration Manager, Windows Server, SQL Server, Exchange, Certificates, MDM

Experience with Enterprise IT, Change Management, ITIL

Experience with PowerShell, Python, Bash

Broad understanding of Windows Server Platforms (file systems, Active Directory, replication, processes, service and log management, users, Terminal services, permissions, I/O, devices, DNS, DHCP, PKI and certificates, etc.).

Ability to work remotely, with light travel requirements (0-5%)

Excellent organizational, communication, teamwork, and documentation skills

Excellent customer service skills and relationship management skills

Process-oriented with a high attention to detail

Ability to work in fast-paced environment and be able to prioritize responsibilities accordingly

Strong oral and written communication skills

Work Environment: Employee work assignments may include tasks working with and/or exposure to potentially hazardous areas, including flammables and explosives. Safety training is provided to all employees to ensure compliance with company and federal regulations.

Pay Range: $81,200.00 - $113,600.00

The actual annual salary offered to a candidate will be based on variables including experience, geographic location, education, and skills/achievements, and will be mutually agreed upon at the time of offer.
