Senior Human Resources Business Partner – Ryder, Inc. As Senior Director, HR Business Partner, you will be a strategic leader and trusted advisor to senior leadership. Supporting Ryder’s Automotive & Industrial (AAI) vertical within the Supply Chain division. Reporting to the Vice President of Human Resources, you will lead the HR Business Partner team and on‑site HR professionals, driving organizational effectiveness, talent development, employee engagement, and workforce planning.

Responsibilities

Partner with senior leaders to align people strategies with supply chain business objectives.

Lead and develop a high‑performing team of HR Business Partners.

Anticipate workforce challenges and guide leaders through complex organizational change with empathy and strategic foresight.

Collaborate with the broader HRBP leadership team to modernize the HR Business Partner function.

Use people analytics to inform talent strategy, optimize workforce planning, and drive measurable outcomes.

Shape organizational structures and leadership pipelines.

Partner cross‑functionally with COEs (Talent Acquisition, Total Rewards, HR Operations, Talent Management, Legal) to deliver integrated HR programs.

Experience

10+ years of progressive HR Business Partner experience, including senior leadership roles supporting executive teams.

Experience in supply chain, manufacturing, public companies, or high‑growth environments is preferred but not required.

Skills

Proven ability to influence and coach senior executives.

Demonstrated success in leading and developing high‑performing HR teams.

Strong business acumen and deep understanding of industry dynamics.

Ability to lead through ambiguity and drive change.

Data‑driven mindset with focus on measurable impact.

Exceptional communication and relationship‑building skills.

Travel 25% – 35% (estimated)

Job Category General Human Resources

Compensation Salary: $150,000 – $180,000 per year. Salaried. Includes annual bonus, commission, and/or long‑term incentive plan based on level.
