Salary Range:
$100,000 - $110,000
Responsibilities
Assist the Director in administering all Safety and Security operations and functions, including preserving the safety and security of guests, team members and the facility, promoting safe work practices, OSHA compliance, safety incentive programs, training, systems management, lost and found, budget forecasting, department management, and meeting participation and facilitation.
Direct and administer the patrol of the interior and perimeter of the hotel and property to observe and identify potential safety risks, security risks and undesirable conditions.
Lead investigations of accidents, thefts, property loss and unlawful activities.
Lead response to emergency situations, including safety hazards, fires, medical emergencies and threats to life and/or property.
Coordinate all safety training, including CPR, fire and life safety systems, workplace violence prevention, limo driver training, and more.
Serve as liaison with federal, state and local law enforcement.
Write and assist in the administration and accuracy of all required reports and documentation.
Respond to guest inquiries and requests in a timely, friendly and efficient manner.
Monitor and develop team member performance, providing supervision, scheduling, counseling, evaluations, professional development, and recognition and rewards.
Recruit, interview and train team members.
Qualifications
Previous experience in a security leadership role within a luxury hotel or Forbes‑rated property.
Strong understanding of emergency procedures, risk management and crisis response in a hospitality setting.
Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multiple departments to uphold the highest safety standards.
Commitment to guest service, ensuring security measures align with a luxury hospitality experience.
Knowledge of local laws, regulations and best practices related to hotel security.
Ability to lead, train and mentor security team members in a professional and supportive manner.
Full availability, including nights, weekends and holidays, based on operational needs.
Required Certifications
FLSD – COF – T89 License
OSHA General Industry Authorized Trainer
