Controller
to oversee all aspects of our organization’s financial operations — from reporting and budgeting to compliance and team development. As a key member of our leadership team, the Controller will ensure financial integrity, support strategic decision‑making, and lead process improvements across the company. This role requires a hands‑on leader with strong GAAP knowledge, ERP expertise (Epicor preferred), and the ability to collaborate across departments to enhance efficiency and performance. Key Responsibilities
Oversee all financial operations, including month-end and year-end close, reporting, and audits Prepare timely and accurate financial statements and performance analyses Manage budgeting, forecasting, and cash flow to support organizational goals Lead payroll, accounts payable/receivable, and vendor management functions Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local financial reporting requirements Serve as the primary Epicor ERP administrator and manage financial system integrity Support HR with payroll processing and employee record maintenance Provide strategic financial insights to leadership and contribute to long‑term planning Develop, mentor, and lead a small finance team Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in accounting required; CPA or CMA preferred 5+ years of progressive accounting and financial management experience Proven experience in full‑cycle accounting, payroll, and audit preparation Proficiency with Epicor ERP (QuickBooks and iSolved experience a plus) Strong understanding of GAAP and internal control best practices Exceptional analytical, communication, and organizational skills Ability to work independently while fostering cross‑functional collaboration Experience in manufacturing or nonprofit finance strongly preferred Seniority level
