Harm Reduction Drop-In Manager (HRDI)
The Harm Reduction Drop-In Manager will coordinate the delivery of essential harm reduction services during operation hours. This manager should have a deep understanding and experience of best practices in the social services field, providing guidance to program staff on engaging and motivating marginalized populations toward wellness and harm reduction. The HRDI Manager serves as a resource for program staff during operation hours, developing resources for participants, coordinating overdose prevention training and Narcan dispensation, and offering supportive counseling services. The HRDI Manager tracks and supervises services delivered by Harm Reduction staff, performs quality assessment of service entry into databases, provides orientation and ongoing training, and assists clients to navigate all services within the Harm Reduction department.
Compensation Range:
$24.00/hr - $26.00/hr commensurate with experience

Primary Responsibilities
Provide supervision and oversight to a team of 7-8 harm reduction staff, including weekly supervision meetings and workflows for extended hours.
Oversee the training, services, and documentation of Harm Reduction Specialists during evening and weekend hours.
Oversee stipend workers’ direct service delivery and training as needed.
Create weekly schedules of staff and peer support, updating with call-outs or program changes.
Navigate participants’ issues, deescalate situations, and follow-up on incidents.
Document incidents and activities that interfere with day‑to‑day operations during evening and weekend hours.
Assess, investigate, and conclude incident reports as needed.
Conduct daily syringe exchange transactions and other safe‑use supplies.
Provide referrals, care coordination, and follow‑up to program participants.
Engage participants with individual and group counseling sessions.
Educate target populations on harm reduction and agency‑wide services.
Coordinate the provision of HIV and Hepatitis rapid testing and counseling services, including referrals.
Maintain communication with Health Services staff for coordination of medical and psychiatric services.
Assist clients on referral and care coordination initiated by other harm‑reduction and medical staff.
Participate in case conferences as needed.
Generate monthly narrative and data reports for evening and Saturday services.
Secondary Responsibilities
Work with data entry staff to ensure all data and services are properly recorded and audit‑ready.
Coordinate escort of participants to services within or outside the agency as needed.
Organize and participate in quality assurance and quality improvement projects directed by the Managing Director.
Participate in monthly staff and peer worker development meetings.
