Position Summary Vice President, Sales reporting to the DentalEZ President, is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive sales function, driving revenue and profitability across all of DentalEZ's product lines and sales channels.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities
Drive profitable growth and achieve sales targets across the entire DentalEZ portfolio. Focus on strong sales execution within multiple sales channels, achieving a high standard of customer satisfaction.
Lead and manage a team of sales professionals focused on both Merchandise and Equipment for all customer types including DSOs, Institutional and International accounts. Leverage relationships with Dealers and DSOs to drive sales.
Be accountable for delivering business results through the teams using effective coaching, motivation and performance management.
Develop the sales strategy in alignment with the marketing strategy to deliver best in class sales execution.
Hire, coach, develop, and performance manage all direct reports and set standards for the team and their direct reports.
Demonstrate strong skills in planning, forecasting, expense management, reporting, sales process adherence, and effective utilization of sales analytics.
Maintain adherence to company sales management and reporting systems. Effectively utilize reporting to track business opportunities and pipeline.
Measure and report feedback on sales strategies and marketing program effectiveness to ensure marketing programs can be corrected, adapted or developed to meet market development objectives.
Utilize sales target pipelines generated through the CRM to determine anticipated revenue or productivity goals based on conversion rate and sales cycle historical experience or marketing plan assumptions.
Organize performance review meetings at regular intervals (weekly, monthly, quarterly) with teams as well as dealer and product partners.
Establish individual development plans for each team member, including compensation and incentive programs.
Ensure all direct reports meet and maintain minimum required product knowledge, sales and presentation skills.
Support marketing efforts in adopting and executing a KOL strategy for sales support.
Responsible personally, and for all direct reports, for adherence to company values, ethics and legal obligations. Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate / Divisional Policies and procedures.
As a member of the Leadership Team, keep the company informed of market dynamics and competitive activity.
Education And / Or Experience Bachelor's degree in Business or equivalent in related experience. 7 to 10 years of sales management experience within either dental or medical device.
Language Skills Read, write, and verbally communicate in English. Advanced ability to write correspondence. Effectively present information in one-on-one and group situations to customers, clients, and other employees of the organization.
Computer Skills
Proficiency in using the personal computer, including Windows-based applications.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite Applications.
Strong understanding of CRM and reporting tools. (Zoho and Qlik preferred)
