IS Solution Architect
Remote role. We are seeking an experienced IS Solution Architect to join our dynamic team. The role ensures effective implementation, configuration, and optimization of Blue Yonder Warehouse Management System (WMS) across our supply chain operations. Key Responsibilities
WMS Implementation & Configuration: Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to define requirements, deliver functional specifications, design and implement WMS solutions; lead configuration and development of Blue Yonder WMS; maintain design blueprints for integrations with ERP, TMS, OT/PLC, etc. Business Process Analysis: Analyze and document business processes, translate business needs into functional & technical requirements, conduct gap analysis to ensure solution meets operational needs. Testing & Quality Assurance: Lead functional testing (unit, UAT, regression), identify, track, and resolve system defects during testing phases. User Support & Training: Provide day‑to‑day support, troubleshoot functional issues; conduct training sessions for warehouse staff and key users. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for system enhancements and process improvements, stay current with new Blue Yonder releases and evaluate benefits. Documentation & Reporting: Maintain comprehensive documentation for system configurations, business processes, and training materials; produce regular reports on system performance and improvement initiatives. Required Skills and Qualifications
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field. Experience: 3‑5 years implementing, configuring and developing in Blue Yonder WMS (formerly JDA WMS); hands‑on with core warehouse processes; experience with system integration, data migration, troubleshooting. Skills: Strong understanding of warehouse operations and supply‑chain best practices; proficiency in WMS configuration, development, functional analysis; strong analytical and problem‑solving; excellent communication; familiarity with testing methodologies (unit, UAT). Certifications: Blue Yonder WMS certification or equivalent functional certifications considered a plus. Technical Skills: Familiarity with SQL or other query tools; understanding of integration tools (API, EDI) a plus. Preferred Qualifications
Experience with Blue Yonder’s suite (TMS, forecasting, replenishment). Experience in Agile or Scrum environments. Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities. Personal Attributes
Strong attention to detail; proactive issue resolution. Effective collaboration with technical and business teams. Problem solver who applies functional knowledge to achieve business outcomes. Location: Telecommute Job Type: Contract Salary: $50-$60 per hour
