At Autism Center of Excellence (AutismCOE) we are dedicated to delivering exceptional Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services that empower children with autism to reach their full potential. We’re seeking an experienced Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to join our Richmond VA clinic as an Associate Clinical Director focusing on mentoring clinicians, supporting families and maintaining the highest standards of clinical quality.

Key Responsibilities

Supervise and provide guidance to BCBAs, RBTs, BTs and ABA trainees

Lead caregiver training and ensure treatment consistency to support client progress

Manage personal billable utilization while helping your team meet theirs

Deliver direct therapy and oversee clinical services to maintain high standards of careReview treatment plans, progress notes and documentation for accuracy and compliance

Oversee staff and student supervision in accordance with BACB requirements

Contribute to professional development training and team meetings

Collaborate on clinical process improvements and policy development

Support AutismCOE's mission through partnership leadership and integrity

Qualifications

Active BCBA certification in good standing (per BACB standards)

Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis or related field

Minimum of 3 years of experience as a practicing BCBA

Demonstrated ability to lead, supervise and collaborate effectively

Strong organizational and communication skills

Commitment to ethical practice and adherence to HIPAA standards

Compensation & Benefits

Annual Salary: $110,000–$140,000 based on experience

Bonus: Performance-based incentive up to 30% of base salary

Requirements

At least 3 years of BCBA experience is required

BCBA Certification: Board Certification in Applied Behavior Analysis per BACB guidelines

Masters degree in Behavior Analysis or related field

Experience working with children on the autism spectrum and other developmental disabilities

Passionate about clinical quality and client progress to drive decision‑making and best practices

Exceptional skillset with leadership, time management and observation

Strong analytical thinker, data‑driven, client‑centered

Effective collaborator and team player who is empathetic and culturally competent

Protect clients' rights and privacy according to HIPAA regulations

Required Skills Active Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) certification (required). Masters degree in Applied Behavior Analysis, Psychology, Education or related field. Eligible for or holding a Virginia Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) credential. Experience working with children with autism in a clinical setting. Excellent interpersonal, organizational and leadership skills. Commitment to compassionate, high‑quality family‑centered care.
