Admitting Representative for the Emergency Department
– Providence Portland Medical Center, Portland, OR. Full‑time, Evening shift.
One Revenue Cycle (ORC)

The Registrar is responsible for securing appropriate patient account reimbursement by obtaining complex demographic, insurance and medical information and ensuring this is documented timely and accurately.
The incumbent performs all duties in a manner that promotes the Providence mission, values, and philosophy. In all aspects, the incumbent serves as a role model for the values and mission of the organization.
Preferred Qualifications
Associate's Degree in Healthcare or Business Administration.
National Certification of CHAA upon hire.
3 years experience in Patient Access of Business office setting.
Experience with insurance eligibility systems.
3 years utilization of medical terminology in job setting.
Knowledge in medical billing codes.
1 year knowledge of Epic applications.
