Senior Data Engineer – OBIEE – Westlake, TX

Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain Oracle Database, SQL, PL/SQL.
Build and develop Informatica Power Center ETL workflows.
Conduct performance tuning, package and procedure development, troubleshooting.
Design and create PowerBI and OBIEE reports; migrate existing reports to a new platform.
Participate in release planning, daily stand‑up, code review, bug fix, incident management.
Recommend and follow engineering best practices and design optimization.
Model data and redesign database objects when necessary.
Develop in cloud environments – Azure, AWS – and work with Snowflake, data lake platforms.
Use Control‑M, SourceTree for deployment.
Qualifications:
Hands‑on experience with Oracle and PostgreSQL.
Experience with SQL/PLSQL development, performance tuning, packages, stored procedures.
Experience developing PowerBI and OBIEE reports.
Experience with Informatica PowerCenter.
Knowledge of cloud concepts (AWS / Azure), Snowflake, data lake.
Exposure to finance and market data.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Attention to detail and ability to perform independent technical analysis on complex projects.
High level of commitment, initiative, vision, and enthusiasm.
