CACI is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer for our manufacturing facility in Orlando, FL to manage elements of the quality management system and process quality initiatives. This full‑time position is based at our Orlando facility. Responsibilities
Support and continuously improve Supplier Quality for product line manufacturing operations at the Orlando site and others across the Operating Group. Develop and prepare supplier scorecards, reports and presentations to communicate process performance and monitor key metrics. Oversee the supplier audit schedule, perform audits, audit reporting. Ensure Supplier Corrective Actions for process and/or product nonconformities are defined and implemented in a timely manner. Handle documentation of nonconforming material and ensure timely disposition; evaluate need and administer SCARs. Collaborate with the director, managers, and individual contributors within Manufacturing, Engineering and other disciplines to sustain and improve production processes and support continuous improvement initiatives. Update quality process work instructions and incoming inspection plans. May support and/or perform source inspections. Lead investigations into internal and external escapes. Evaluate suppliers for inclusion onto the Approved Supplier List. Maintain relevant Quality documentation as part of our AS9100 certification. Help focus improvement efforts by preparing process data and identifying trends. Qualifications – Required
Minimum 5 years experience with Supplier Quality Improvement and Troubleshooting. Manufacturing product realization and commodity experience specializing in machining, printed wiring assemblies, and/or optics fabrication. Experienced in Supplier Quality and concepts including QMS and manufacturing process audits, SCARs, source inspection, MIPs, flow down of requirements and scorecards. Experience with Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GD&T) and mechanical drawings. Established knowledge of engineering and manufacturing operations in Aerospace and Space flight environments. Strong communication & presentation skills. Ability to successfully work across multiple levels and organizations. Experience in data analysis, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Root Cause and Corrective Action. Strong computer literacy, with MS Office/PC expertise, and demonstrated experience with applicable systems, programs, equipment, etc. Bachelor’s degree in a technical field of study preferred; related experience may be considered in lieu of a degree. If required, candidate must be able to obtain/retain a government security clearance at the level required to perform the duties of the position. Some travel may be expected for this position (up to 25%). Desired – Preferred
Quality experience in a DOD environment. Formal training and proficiency in GD&T. Current certification in IPC‑A‑600, IPC‑A‑610, IPC‑A‑620, and/or J‑STD‑001 Space Addendum. Experience with CMM programming and GR&R. Experience with Special Processes and controls. ASQ Certified Quality Engineer. Six Sigma Certification. Familiar with Lean Manufacturing and Daily Management / Gemba Meetings. Experience with AS9100 and ISO Quality Management Systems. Benefits & Compensation
